The concept

The Ultimate Chess Game is a collaborative and interactive chess game played on Instagram by over 170.000 persons.

Players choose the team they want to support, Black or White. Each day, a team votes in the comment section for the move they want to play. 24 hours later, a video presents the move they've decided on with 3D animation.

In fact, this is no ordinary game. The chess pieces are characters and they evolve as the game progresses. The more pieces they absorb, the bigger they become.

Black Team won the first game, but the second season started on September 25, and the White Team is out for revenge.
